If King Arthur were to return today...who would he attack?

Now, according to many historians, the King Arthur that actually existed was based upon a Roman Cavalry man several hundred years after Augustus who fought the Saxons in the area of Wales and London.  He repelled the Saxons and Unified the lands in that area.

However, some of his legends were mixed up on the main continent with those of a Spanish General named Maximus (yes, probably got the idea for the movie Gladiator off this type of character and mixing it with Comodos's death).  Others were mixed with some Irish folklore...

But overall, many historians agree that Arturius was the one that the basic legend of Arthur comes from.  Now we see Arthur fought off the Saxons...but seeing modern day England...

If Arthur were to return...would he attempt to destroy the Royal House, Conquer Wales, rejoice with those that are there?  Or would he do something different?

I personally think he'd go insane and crazy trying to figure out where all his people had vanished to and try to conquer the British Isles from EVERYONE there...

 Well the Royal Family is of German descent so i guess they would be history.
 As for the rest, I don't really know enough to even make a guess.

I would say that it would depend on which version of Arthur you are talking about and what the temperment of that person is. Is he a peace loving individual who would like the way the island is united, well fairly united, and peaceful? Is he a man who is a purity nut? Is he the type pf person who would see injustice in a foreign land and go there to help out? If he is the first, he would probably just say, cool. I"m not needed now. If the middle, he would try to regain the thone. And if the latter, he might head south to Africa and try to help them out.

Well...limme see...if Arthur was alive today and he was a Roman which genetically would make him an Italian then I think he would probably be running a pizza place on Canal street NYC.  On Friday night he would get drunk and attack his wife. ::)

That is funny!

It's inspired by my readings currently.  Reading Le Morte D'Arthur by Malory.  I've also read some of the Background on it and got me thinking about what would happen if the Legends of Arthur were true.

If he were to come back to smite his enemies and unite England under him...who would he go after!?

It be surprising to see if he wouldn't go catatonic trying to decide exactly who to save and who to push off into the ocean.

Of course if one takes his original uniting of England, he would seem to be a rather risque, resourceful man who is really good at hand to hand combat.  However, at the same time, he seems to desire more to talk and use peaceful means rather than killing...unless they refuse to join him.  Once reading about him, and analyzing his character, it can become quite interesting to try to determine what his actions would be if he returned to the modern world.

Heaven help us...

Bonaparte...

Hard one to figure out, depends on when and where he used it, saying he could even get it to go off.  If he managed to do so in the right spot at the right time, perhaps we'd all be speaking French, and consider the British people who like to wave white flags!
