It's great. I play it when I am not playing SFC. Right now I am on the Realms of Legend. It is listed under Persistent World Action in the Gamespy Listings. Lots of good helpfull people on.

I play NWN and enjoy the game.  I typically don't play on public servers anymore, but with a group in modules.  I find even a bad module can be  alot of fun with people you know.  I think it's a great game, and it's openess on what can be done, or allowed, is awesome.

It is a very, very good game.

It has a thriving online community, but I think it makes for a better single player game (IMHO).

What is nice is that it's an extraordinarily mod-able game.  It's built so that people can make their own campaigns (multiplayer or single player) and there are --and I am not kidding --THOUSANDS of them available.  You could play NWN for the next ten years and not make a dent in the amount of free playable content there is out there now.

Its a great game.

And the converse of Dash's observation is also true.  Even a good module can be bad with the wrong people....

There is so much stuff out for this game its unbelievable, i saw a load of servers using something called CEP, so i had a look at the link provided and found this, i was amazed:

"Brought to you by the CEP Team and now available for free download, the Community Expansion Pack (CEP), is the culmination of two years' of community development, experimentation, and contribution. The CEP is the best of the best. It provides you with a single, integrated source of high-quality custom content for Neverwinter Nights

Here is what you get with the CEP:

    * New unreleased creatures not available anywhere else and over 450 community creatures, such as goblins, owlbears, and gelugons. Many of these creatures also feature wing and tail nodes.
    * Two new dynamic creatures suitable for PCs: the Wemic and the Brownie.
    * 14 completely new weapon types, including the falchion, maul, nunchaku, and trident, and new components for thousands of unique weapons.
    * 324 new shields. There's also new components for thousands of unique armor and clothing types.
    * 772 new inventory icons including rings, robes and books, and 90 new items from holy symbols to musical instruments.
    * 1,448 new placeables from plates and bowls to siege engines, ships, and towers.
    * 121 new NPC portraits for dwarves, elves, gnomes, halflings, humans, half-elves, half-orcs, wemics, and driders.
    * Click here to check out full features document in PDF format (146Kb)"

Hey Gim, what's the Word on Sigil? I know PaperMonk was working hard on that, Did It ever get released? Planescape would Rock with this game IMO.

If you are ever interested in another adventurer in your group I'd love to join in. I have to agree that playing modules on line is the most fun. PM me if you are interested.
