Um, does anyone know if Arctic can be tracked down?  Maybe he still has the original map?

Last i heard he had gone back up his mountain :(

Hang on I have an Artic.mvm somewhere (EAW) would that be it?

Maybe, I can convert maps from EAW to OP if it is and EAW map.

M'Ress curls up in a ball.

"Large maps, CTD's, lineups to login.... Oh the horror!"

Sure! Bring it on, it would be a great distration for in between other servers. As long as everyone realized this so to try and avert any, shall we say, "differences of opinion."

"differences of opinion."

Hmm, was that directed to me

Well those of us like myself who don't like that setup have a very simple solution:  don't play on it.  Everyone else can have their fun.  We can go out drinking and whoring until the next real server starts.

And Dizzy, the ISC HW was not in a nebula on AF. That was RJ's first OP server I think. It was the only D2 where the ISC won the server IIRC.

Was that Red Alert?  I don't know where all the ISC came from on that server, but there definitely didn't seem to be any stopping them.

I fell in love with the Convoy Raid on Red Alert, because it was the only mission in which I could regularly beat the ever-present I-BBZ's in my little war destroyer.  Zip in, pray a lot, capture three freightors, zip out and pray that your hull holds up until the border.  Score the victory.  (This was in the days before people learned to resupply their freightors with fresh marines.)

You might be right Corbo... But it wasnt on RJ's server. I remember we drove to the ISC homeworld and then were driven back. Was it on Rooks? Man, those were the days. You had godlike status to me the way you bitch slapped me our first few encounters. Then I realized you were cheating. ;)
