Saucer looks to be Nightstorms modified version of P81's FCX saucer with textures by Captain Ron. Didn't the Chabot have the FCX secondary hull aswell? But modified to have only one deflector dish

Really....I look at ship models as art work.  WHO CARES what saucer section it was kitbashed from..as long as it is pleasing to YOUR eye. And I think it is.  I love it when modelers improve old models...thats how it would really happen...to many resources to just scrap a ship as large and complex as a space travelling vechicle.  Release it!!! We would use it in Islandwars...(if ya didnt mine) hehehe

Alright, it will be released.

Here is what it uses as of right now
- p81 High-Res FCX with Captain Ron's Retex (thats the saucer, and nothing but the saucer)
- p81 High-Res Lakota with Captain Ron's Retex (thats the Saucer extension, the Secondary Impulse Engines and the entire secondary hull)
- p81 Sovereign (the Nacelles and Nacelle Struts; im going to replace them with WZ45's Sovvie parts, so release will have to wait until i can get his okay)

this was inspired by the Chabot, certainly, except the Chabot used the FCX Secondary hull, and Excelsior Primary Hull (just retexed to have the FCX look)

But wait there is more....there will also be a Plus refit which will have the Miranda Rollbar.

so this Damoclese will have 8 Photon Torp Launchers
(two on neck, two in back of secondary hull, 4 on front of saucer)
the Damoclese+ will have 12.

Be sure to leave this one around a while...   my puter is in the shop.  can't wait to get it back..

Nicely done! Always nice to see you post something new.

So does this mean you can now move on to another TMP Yamato style FBB using Kodiak warp engines and thicker nacelle support struts a la TOS Yamato by the Stresspuppy? PLEASE...

Keep those ships coming out of the shipyards :)

hmmm...
Depending on when you plan on the actual release (later than 2 weeks from now) you might want to send a link of it or the file to me. I should still have the blanks for the saucer textures and should colour match things up as well. I should also have a new Deflector texture for it laying around as well wanting to look over the engine textures to see if they can be matched to the rest of the ship.

I am still currently away from my computer until next week (took a month long Vaction, for a world trip) so I can not look over anything until then.
