very interesting idea..  ironicaly I've been considering somethin simular to this recently my self.  Most everyone knows I still have not been satisfied with the up dates we've been doing on the Advanced Light Cruiser.  (Just cant seem to make it work...  thought it did spawn several good ideas ... like the improved roll bar with a better sensor array and a deflector that was better.

Not bad at all. I'm curious about the warp nacelles. Why the modified version?

Thank you, I was originally gonna go with the Nebula idea, but decided to go with Reliant, But, I do have a thought for a Nebula class up date in the future.

Well, yes & no, it is a kitbash of one of my own, the Battleship USS Missouri, one I created from scratch about a year ago. The ?roll bar/pylon? I created for this model, & have scaled this down meet the same size as the Sovereign class.

Is the Sovereign round?   No.
Is the Sovereign white?  Looks that way, technically it?s a bluish.

Thank you,
As for the nacelles, I tried every way imaginable, rite side up, up side down, top out, top in, nothing looked right, so I sliced the bottoms off & welded the 2 tops together, My nephew was standing here about the time I stuck?em on, He said that look COOL!!!!, so I left them like they are

Thanks again everyone,
I have completed the texturing & hardpoints still testing in sfc3, I'm unable to release it at this time due to the cable provider is out, for some reason I can not access the server from this temperary AOHell  ::)  But I'll make a new post when its up & running again.

Not bad JOKER for a TNG/POST-TNG ship.

So are you going to revisit your Pirate BB? I still use that as my heavy PBB. Any other non-Federation ships in the works?

For all you newbies out there, JOKER was one of the key people that helped bring the TMP era Klingon Academy Tholians to SFC. IIRC he fixed the lighting on the Quartz DD and turned the ship around so it was flying correctly about two years ago.

He is yet another fine example of the members of the SFC community coming together to enhance our favorite game.

I think you ought to streamline the torp tube boxes. While it means nothing in a vacume it doesn't match the rest of the ship, everything else is around and cool, then ya got them 2 boxes sitting up there.

Also, if you want to mail it to files@bcfiles.com which can  take large attchments, I will post it on mackies site till you can get yours working if u want.

Hello KF, How the hell are ya? Good to see ya again.
I Hadn?t really thought about it, but now that you?ve mentioned it, I just might do that in the near future. I have another version of this ship I?d like to do something with next, I got to a point when I had moved the secondary hull up & removed the 3rd nacelle, I thought this looks like a whole other design style its self. (Light cruiser)
But there is one thing I REALLY need to do, & that make a new Mars Station, I got so frustrated with the last , I just pitched it in deleted files. But who knows, Just have see what wild hair I get

Your rite, they do look kinda odd, kinda TOS or TMP. I?ll have to fix that.
I?ve trying to watch the poly count, its easy to get to polys up there when your trying for detail, this thing is already close to 3000, while that is ok for BC, I?m not sure what is considered too high for SFC3

I appreciate the offer to post this for me. I just may need to do that, but Im thinking the reason I can?t get on the server is due to this temp AOHELL, once cable is back I?m hoping everything be OK. I?ve emailed Peter about this but havn?t heard back yet.

i think the ship would be bether with out the defletor dish and the kinda segondary hull unfer the saucer, i know the nebula class uss phoenix have a segondary hull and a deflector dish, but the original reliant/miranda dind't have a defletor dish.

anyway its your ship  :D

It does, but only 1 aft torpedo, (but will extra shots) its hard to see, its on the secondary hull, the round blue thing, for Quantum torpedoes  & a total of 8 phasers, 4 that can reach the rear, 2 directly for the rear.  Its armed very well, but balanced

A ?Non-Canon? ship (in this situation) means, that it is a ship never seen in any Star Trek data bases, in an episode, in this game. BUT!!!, it looks enough like some from Star Trek to be associated with Star Trek, & so there fore, it is
That?s what I do, non canon ships

& you?re right, it?s my ship
