Export Problem
« on: July 04, 2004, 06:50:37 am »
Hmmmm..

I am trying to export my model as .mod format for sfcIII everytime I export it and then import it, part of the mesh becomes transparent... this did not happen the last time I did this???

I can select to force 2 sided under render and that fixes the problem.. however when I load up the attribute editor the problem still exists... the textrues and lighting all work...

Any Ideas why my model is doing this??? Again its fine under 3ds max format but under .mod format I get this problem....

If you're using max, sounds like you need to select the offending faces, then in the modify panel ckick Normal>Flip Normals. Hope this helps. :-\

Thanks Sandman.. I'll give it a shot...

Failing that would anybody be will to take a loot at it if I send it to them... It is hard to explain in words what the problem is and it's probably best to see for yourself!!!

Thanks again. ;)
