I keep missing DarkMatrix online, he usually gets my stuff online, I hope he's OK.

OK here's my take on Firesoul's recent kitbashes:

Better armed, more heavily armored and equipped with additional energy dissapation capaciters these ships were designed to be intimidating to the other races of the Alpha quadrant of late TMP times. The Klingon admiralty had hoped to extend the technological innovations gained through the K'teremny and VoDleH Classes into the heavy cruiser and dreadnought classes as well. Unfortunately, these technological "enhancements" had their trade offs. The range of these "refits" dropped compared to similar unrefit versions and because of the addition of heavy torpedoes, crew compliments were also reduced, in some cases, by as much as 20%. These factors, along with Fleet supply and maintainance concerns that came out after the destruction of Praxis, kept these "refits" from becoming widespread throughout the Klingon Empire.

In my corner of the Trek universe these are part of the dreaded Klingon Black Fleet. I have a few texture tweaks to add to the C-7 and KBB kitbash by Firesoul but I need the warps to be lit to pull these retextures off.

Thanks red_green, that's quite a compliment coming from somebody like you who can actually make ORIGINAL models

The pics are from SFC:OP. However, the BS, VL and TI shots are there for SFC3.

I repacked my ships recently. I added a *blank* black illumination texture for the various ships recently released. Why don't you redownload them and give it a shot? (ie: KB10, KB8)

I really like that original texture for the radiatior on the front of the hangar decks. It's really interesting.

That's the VodIeh grill texture by the looks of it, most of this is based on the VodIeh, looks pretty good, feels like a KA ship with the darker and greener texture style. Nice work KF.
