I'LL BE BACK!!! WiITH MY FLEET!!
« on: July 02, 2004, 08:17:17 pm »
Sorry couldn't help myself, I watched T3 on cable last night, anyway, I just wanted to let you know that my website is returning.  I am hoping to get it up by the end of the 4th of July weekend, but don't be surprised if it takes a few days longer.  My brother had a medical scare over the last two days and that set me back.  Apparently he was having chest pains and the doctors ran some tests and thought he had an air bubble in his lung.  Fortunately, additional tests revealed that he only had some minor tears in his lungs and throat, due to his overexertion at the basketball camp he went to.  A little rest will heal those tears up, which is much than cracking his chest open to get at that air bubble, as the doctors were discussing last night.  How you can mistake tissue tears for an air bubble is beyond me, but I guess it's possible.  At least he is out of the hospital now and back home where I can knock his head against the wall for pushing himself too hard at 2000 feet elevation.  You don't do that when you're not used to it.

Now that you know what's been going going on, here is the site news.

I am putting the finishing touches on all my ships, which have been re-textured with Khaliban's textures.

Also, Marauth has given me many ships to host, I haven't counted them but there are at least a dozen new ships/re-textures of previously released ships.

So that is the gist of it, very soon you will have many more ships to drool over.

Look forward to seeing it up again, and glad your brother is doing ok. I sometimes think doctors tell ya something to make a kessage sink in, like when they told me I had pneumonia, and the xray showed a spot on my lung....neglecting to tell me that you can get sores on your lung from the pneumonia, so I thought, spot on my lung=lung cancer. Had me scared sh*tless. :( Luckily, the sore healed up and the spot went away, though they did find out one other thing from the xray...I have emphysema. Oh well, win some, lose some. :-\

As you heard God's message from afar;
All you had hoped for, all you had, you gave
To save mankind-yourself you scorned to save."

That's just mean to do that to somebody.  I don't think they did that in my brother's case though, I mean he is only 17, in great shape, scaring us all like that would have been very stupid to do, especially since my Dad and I would have had a little "talk" with the doctors that did it, or rather our fists would have done the talking.  Bottom line is that doctors should always verify something first before telling the patient what they think the problem is.

The thing that gets me though is that they did an EKG and they told my brother that in addition to the air bubble his left and right ventricles on his heart were twice as thick as they should be, which would mean that he could not play sports, or do any strenuous activity for the rest of his life.  Quite a blow to a sports nut like my brother, of course additional test also proved they were wrong on this diagnosis as well.  However the thing that blows me away is that they called this condition "Athlete's Heart", apparently this is somewhat common in athletes.  We all have heard that exercise is great for the heart, we're urged to excercise as often as possible, BUT not too much or we could be susceptible to this condition, it's like no matter what we do, we're screwed.

Well there went that orginal idea I started doing all my retex work with! :(

Well looks Like I will have to look for a new patern to follow for customizing Fed ships. but at least I know I influenced some ppl which was more then I ever expected when I started to retexture ships.
People always said they wanted the government to listen to them and now the government is listening, taking notes and names...and coming to see you soon!

America-Not the land of the free anymore...
 Its the land of the freeloaders

Remember the axiom of big government bureaucrats: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. When, finally, under the crushing weight of taxes and regulation, it stops moving, subsidize it.
