After having P81s Dynaverse 2 Model Pack installed for a while, it struck me that it would be great to have an extended idea for people who use the stock version, or have a separate stock version of SFC3 installed for playing multiplayer.
No spec file editing, or anything else, just new models scaled correctly to each other in game, and hardpointed to keep the correct weapons in the right places. You could replace ships like the Feklhr and Hawk with newer models, but I guess the class name would have to remain the same.
Of course, I'm not able to hardpoint and do this, so basically we would need a few people to select replacement models and get them set up.
Thoughts?
