Anyone catch the remake os "Salem's Lot?"

Caught about an hour of it last night, the whole thing is running in its entirety in 15 minutes. 

Worth wathcing the whole 4 hours?

I caught most of it this afternoon.  Thought It was ok, worht the 4 hours I tossed away on it,

I liked it, my wife thinks she prefers the original.  I say thinks because it's been so long since she's watched it that the memories could be more nostalgia than actual recollections from the film.

Having spent the last few years OD'ing on Buffy and Angel I liked the updated treatment the Vamps were given.  I also liked the more human Barlow vs teh Nosferatu-like creature in the first outing.

It was a decent way to blow three hours.

The original gave you more of an erie feeling.  The remake was cool but did not have the erie feeling.
