Wildcat BC & Lion DN power packs
« on: June 25, 2004, 07:42:50 pm »
This is what I've come up with for the power packs on the Trimaran ships:

Wildcat (and Hellcat eventually) with dual packs:

and the Lion with the single pack:

Head on:

According to 'R11.R5 - Power Pack' "...It was hard welded to the belly on the centre section of the CW and DW......The Wildcat BC and Hellcat BCH carried two of these power packs. The Lion DN carried only one" hence the location under the ship rather than in the position shown on the SSD. Mind you, you cant really show something as being 'underneath' other stuff easily on a 2D diagram :)

More to come soon

I like the idea of having p-refit Lyrans. I'm looking forwaed to seeing how they turn out.
If Romulans aren't cowards, then why do they taste like chicken?

May I make a suggestion?

Would it benefit to have the pack wrap around the back so that players themselves can see a part of it in the standard chasecam view? I'm thinking instead of being underneath only, have it |___, -wrap the aft hull a little...

Just a thought. :)
