Oh, sorry, still getting used to the flow of the new forums. I'm a liitle unsure who is responding to who sometimes.

I say why not go all the way though? I remember coming across servers with no rules whatsoever... good fun was had...

I have played thousands of TCP/IP games with fleets following SFB CnC (as closely as possible), it adds a lot of additional dimension to the game to fly a fleet, I think you're missing out myself. In fact we had to throw out a member of the group who refused to fly according to CnC - he kept buying BBs with the allotted prestige. (Though I'll happily fly on single ship servers too... fact is I'll happily play on whatever the major server of the moment is regardless of the rules etc..)

I believe I have, and yes it requires a little more finesse than bombardment ships.
Set yer AI buddies to fire only on your command, set the line astern formation, and start mowing! 1,2,3...  ;D
