Turn off Klingon Fed alliance in Conquest Mode

Turn off Klingon Fed alliance in Conquest Mode. How do you do it and can it be done?

I tried to set the political tension as stated on this board so that the Federation and Klingons should be at war with each other in my Conquest Mode.  But they are still allies with each other, it does not work.

I want to fight the Klingons as Federation in single player conquest mode. Can it be done?

I could play on the net but rather save my conquest game SP so I can always pick back up from where I left off. Net servers keep resetting and is annoying.

Can Klingons and Feds fight each other in SP conquest mode? thanks.

Yes, sure they can be enemies.!
I actually modified the political tensions and i am enemy with averyone playing as Fed.
Try seting the political tension as the same value as the Borg. (But remember to keep your own race value to cero). If i am not mistaken, the value is 1000. (Mortal enemies)

make sure you set Feds as enemies with klingons, and klingons as enemies with feds.  It'll be really messed up if you make Feds allies with Klingons but Klingons at war with fed- then the feds won't attack the klingons but the klingons will attack the feds.

Yes, that is what I said that I did. I changed the political tension every way I could and from reading earlier post.

I am running the beta-patch.

In SP Conquest mode, they still will not fight each other, Feds and Klinks.

That is why I do not understand why it will not work. It seems to works for you, I am setting agression for Klingons to 1000 and keep Feds to 0. for Feds_politics; then vise versa for Klingon_politics. It is not working, very odd. Thanks for the input, any other ideas? You running beta-patch?

Just checking, did you start a fresh campaign after you altered the political tensions?

A campaign's tensions are set when the campaign is first begun, so changing the Metamap.gf contents won't affect saved campaigns.

Yes, NuclearWeasel, I did restart a new Single Player Conquest Campaign. Unfourtanely it does not work.

I am running the Neutral Zone Mod, can that affect it?

It seems the game will not read in the file. Also, running beta patch.

That was Klingons will have 1000 tension with Federation (Mortal Enemies) and Federation will have 1000 tension with Klingons (Mortal Enemies).

I know it works because i'm running a dynaverse server with Klingons and Fes having a tense alliance (Border Disputes; 400 tension) for Chris Jones' mod.

I am running Single Player Only Conquest Game.

You are running a Server for Multiplayer Mode.

It seems that is SP Mode, the Conquest game the Feds and Klingons are always allies.

I can try to re-install the whole game, but I doubt if it will work.

Have you checked  by starting a SINGLE  Player Only Conquest Game? Thanks. This is really odd. Maybe only in Multiplayer Mode you can make Feds and Klinks enemies.
