A mate of mine ordered a CPU from them. He needed it the next day, as that was his day off to build the computer. They called him at 5pm, well after the time he could make an order elsewhere, to say that the site had a mistake on it and that the part wasn't available. They could send him an OEM chip (he ordered retail, but was going to use a different heatsink), but it would come the day after - not the day he had off.
This annoyed him, but he accepted it and said he would still like a retail chip for the 3yr AMD warranty. They promised that they'd send him one Friday, to arrive Saturday. Today.
Chip hasn't arrived.
We check Royal Mail's site - they expect to deliver it on Monday. My friend won't be home to accept it Monday, seeing as he is at work. Ditto for Tuesday. This means that he will have to drive to the nearest RM depot to collect it, as they only attempt to deliver twice.
OC are based about 30 mins away from my mate's house. They could have driven a chip over to him for all the time and money they've cost him. They could have sent it with Amtrak, who are very quick at delivering things. But no. They send it through Royal Mail, possibly the slowest and crappiest delivery company in the UK besides City Link.
I'm not ordering from them again.
