Going Backwards

As a TMP fan through and through, I have stuck to SFC2... (besides, the UI is classier), anyway does anyone out there know how to put engines in reverse and go backwards, or even if there is a mod to allow you to do it.......

It's in the movies but not in the game...........

Oh, and i know this is a really stupid question and I should know the answer, I'm hardly a newbie but, can you warp out in the middle of a fight....

i.e.  leave...........

Just cross over the red border in middle of fight... there is no warp in middle of map....

and yo0u may see the reverse in movies.. but SFC 2 is based on Starfleet Battles, not Star Trek movies.... what you see in game in reguards to movie tie ins is purely added features.

There is reverse movement in SFB  (Kafman retrograde? SP).

But we all know that SFC did not stay true to the rules, for reasons that have allready been given, so no need to go there again.

I agree with you, however.. only 1 thing I want to point out.. SFC is made on the Doomsday SFB ruleset and is not effected by any retrogrades that I know of...

But for those new to the game, can't we give them again. As I recall it was because the AI can't handle it.
