 Convoy raid.  Screw em. I've come for blood, or at least a lil bit of pain.  These boats ain't cheap.  Dance around throwing psuedos.  Brave lil Gorn Q ship wants in the action.  SOS asks if they can be dispatched.  NP, I say.  Then watch helplessly as my entire forward shield array is enveloped by a sneaky Romulan S torp.  That bastard. Now I'm mad.  It was an accident.  Yeah, right.  More Romulan lies.  Make joke about releasing my fighters.  He taunts me to release them.  I end up eating a few more torpedos, but make the Rommie run at around speed 30.  He cant recharge his torps, but neither can I.  I'm counting on the 10 ph1's to make the enema less enjoyable than their fleet's used to.  PF's plink at rear shield of Rommie.  Stupid, impatient me eats about 5 mines and a SS.  But still I charge.  Start charging torps one by one, downgrading all to F.  Finally get a tractor armed.  PF's still plinkin away.  One repair left.  MUTUALLY decide to end engagement.  Fix shuttlebay and recall fighters.  Gosh darn, that was close.  Too close.  150 in repairs and 110 on supplies.

 A damn good fight.  I'm currently tooling around in an MCC.  Just trying to buck the carrier trend.  Obviously, being PF reliant has led to a decay of skills.  Look forward to a rematch.  Meridius, your next.

That fight was against my teacher, SOS-Arthur.  I only hope I can live up to his excellent instruction..

Oh, and you're right, relying on PF's must have decayed your 'skill'.  IE:  Those pf's saved your ass.  You were reluctant at first to use them even though Arthur said you could.  I dunno, maybe you thought your extra S-torp, and/or your 3 extra ph-1's should've given you enough of an edge in the fight to go without the pf's.  Who knows...

Hail Meridius.  It is good to hear Sensai Arthur has loged on as well.  We are now at over 50% strength.    Please check out the D2 as much as possible. We need to get more comfortable with it.  However, the joint fleet training continues on the secure site.

As for G'Warlock.   You have met one of the best Gorn pilots and survived.

Victory is ours.  It just doesn't know it yet.

And G'Warlock, I have not forgotten you.  Once Mid-Terms are over, I will "Come out and Play"

I must cocur, I find Gwarlock an honourable and gifted opponent.I've always learned something when I have fought him and always known that if I fight with grace my ship will survive(I'd love to see Gwarlock fighting a dishonourable opponent...he seems to be able to send messages and fight at the same time, and he has a sharp wit when needed.)
Just wait Gwarlock...I am slowly learning your style,perhaps I shall gain the upper someday.
