Or is everything about Vegas. Watch the travel channel some times and it seem when they talk about gambleing all they talk about is Vegas, they hardly ever talk about Atlatic City anymore. But wasnt it the place to be at one time. Yes Im bored

Oh yes little old ladies still go to AC to blow their Social Security checks

Seriously though, the BIG difference between Las Vegas and AC is that in Vegas there are other things to do besides gamble.  Outside of the casinos in AC there isn't much to do.

Also AC has to compete with Foxwoods and Mohecan Sun in Connecticut for the New York crowd.

AC needs to clean up and diversify big time if it hopes to continue to be competitive.

I have an Aunt and uncle on my wifes side of the family that used to Live in Philly. We tried to make the trip up there every few years, and everytime, I had  to drive there Big station wagon from Philly to atlantic City for a day out of Gambling, Dinning, etc.

They have Moved to Florida this last year, so I doubt I'll get back up  there anytime soon.
