Just poped over to their site and saw this can anyone that follows gameing news more closely than me conferm this else were

HALF-LIFE 2 CODE THEFT ARRESTS
A very odd news item today says that arrests have been made in the Half-Life 2 code theft from last fall. The reason I say 'odd' is that no one is talking about how many people were arrested, or who they are, or where they're from. It's practically Pravda-esque. Very strange.

It's possible this is a hoax designed to scare up potential targets. It would be a bold a risky move by Valve though.

I saw this yesterday, it looks for real as enough sites are reporting on the story.  Even C|Net is running the news.

Bah,  the only thing I care about is when it is actually FINISHED and released.... Even if I had heard about when it was avaialble on the net I wouldn't have bothered with it.... Until then HL2 is on the back burner in my mind

Remembers bugging my local computer store for about 3-4 years about Robotech Crystal Dreams...

Just because it was in some news sites doesn't mean it actually happened. Dewey defeated Truman if you're going by the news.

You know...I'm not even that bothered by HL2 anymore. On the other hand, I cannot wait for F.E.A.R......that little girl in the videos of the game that Gamespot posted is the most freaky sight I've seen for a long time in games.....
