question:  Are those impusle engines or shuttle bay doors above the platform on the rear secondary hull? They are glowing like impulse engines. But the deck makes 'em look like they should be shuttle bays. On a ship that size it might have a couple or maybee some sort of pod. But if they are not impulse engines then your saucer needs to grow apair. Just a little constructive criticism. It looks awesome other than that.

Nice. Perhaps you might want to see how a torpedo launcher looks on the top (sort of a variant).

It's an impulse deck.  I thought about replacing the pod with a miranda sytle pt pod for a 'combat version

See how it would look without the fantail. Crop or shorten it a bit. I don't know if it would be an improvement but it might be.

The pod is fine. I was referring to pod shuttles like a workbee or one man shuttle. it was in reference to the fantail impulse/shuttle area.
