one does 10 points of damage and can be transported up to 5 away from your ship, the other can't be transported but does 35 points of damage.

the max of t mine is 127.

but i never try that many so i don't know how it will work in a game, but it might be fun you keep teleporting mine around the enemy ship to cause damage to it , and the max number of transporter is 25, so you can teleport  a lot of mine  with that

the reactor beam is 127, the shild is 4999, so with that your unvulnarable, power is 127 also, acceleration is 1000, with that your super fast and can slap the eneymy before is weapon is ready.

If you go into the Space Dock it asks you how many mines that you want. That is the maximum mines that your ship can carry. If you edit it up to say ten it will only give you ten and if you look in your transporter and weapons panel there will only be that number of mines. You can only have what you get out of Space dock no more and if you play on a Dyna you are only allowed the maximum number which I believe is six that is it.I would like if a Dyna player would quote me on this please thanks and you are only allowed to use the same ship list as everyone else or there will be warning that someone is using a modified ship list and it will show your name.

That is correct. The mines do the same ammount of damage. The only exceprion is the Romulan Nuclear Mine. Typically you carry only one. Maybe two on a bigger ship. It can only be dropped out the rear, and is the first mine you drop. You must develop a tactic that allows you to drop it in front of an enemy and get them to run over it. Typically this is done by making a close, high speed, pass at an angle to the bow of the oncoming opponent.

No, it is not the first mine you drop.  You have to hit shift+m to drop the NSM and instead of red rings it has blue rings so you can tell the difference.  And IT does 35 points of damage ALL other T-Bombs whether dropped or transported do 10 points  they can be dropped by hitting m or transported by hitting b or made into a suicide shuttle if you have a free shuttle and a t-bomb.

Thats how it works.

There are regular mines (otherwise known as t-bombs) that can either be dropped out the back of a ship or laid with a transporter. Then there are the Romulan nuclear mines that are more powerful and can only be dropped out the back of a ship; they cannot be transported.

What do you mean you can't choose?

Pressing M drops T-Bombs out the back one at a time

Pressing T lets you bomb someone from 5 really fast depending on how many tranporters you have.

Pressing shift-M lets you drop a Large Mine

Those are the T-Bombs/mines(same thing) the Nuclear Space mine isn't listed in such a manner.  As was stated in an earlier post, you get one only one and you drop it by hitting Shift+M.  It can't be transported, isn't the first mine you drop or the last mine you drop.

This is like the topic that wouldn't die and has been answered many many times in this thread.
Just because something is in shipedit doesn't mean it applies to the version of SFC you have.  Shipedit was written by someone other than Taldren so it may not be exactly correct.  It's a very good utility but it ain't perfect.

If you press B then hold down Shift you may transport as many T-Bombs as you have Transporters (not all at once). Simply hold down the Shift button after pressing B and continue to click the mouse button.

Pressing T lets you bomb someone from 5 really fast depending on how many tranporters you have.

Pressing T lets you bomb someone from 5 really fast depending on how many tranporters you have.

The "B" key by default is mapped to drop a T-Bomb.

Plus shift.

DonK didnt understand thats all, he understands now, whats the point of having forums, if we cant help other people, new people come to these forums all the time, and ask the same questions we did in the past, i admit it gets annoying but hey you gotta be friendly....
