YAHOO!!!!

This thing is great guys.  GET IT.  I've been using just the batch files since I have XP but with this new version it should make things even easier.

Again I highly recommend this if you play on multiple servers with different shiplist(we all do).  Just a little setup time and once you get the idea you'll be fine.

Actually, this was a project me and Tar started, and I, along with some others, continued after he left.

This was intended for just SW, but I managed to add some other features, and usability.  Many in GZLeagues already use it, and I just finished the last revision to the program.    I posted it here for the new General Wars server going up today, so I hope all find it usefull.

For more info/technical support/comments, my official forums are hosted at  GZ Leagues.  Here is a  direct link to my forums.

Enjoy!

Would it be usefull/appropriate for this thread to be stickied? At the rate threads go up here, I don't know if all had a chance to see the thread b4 it went to the backround, not to mention the accesability.

I just want to be sure all get the chance to benifit from the utility to the fullest they can.

What was Tars switcher like was it easy to switch list and how did you get it tell me if it is different than Strats I have used his before but it keeps interfering with my single player camp. when I click on to a Ship in the shipyard the screen goes black like it is off.I have to press ESC to return to the shipyard it is ok in skirmish though.

Strat I would have to say that this a good way to switch shiplists but when playing in single player camp. the screen goes black when you right click on a ship in the shipyard and have to press esc. to return to shipyard I would test this in single player camp.I was wondering if someone who has a custom shiplist where can they put it in OP3.1 seeing how it is not being used anymore?I will agree it is easy to use.

Stat' I would get one of those thumb tacks and place this on the first page of D2 forum like OP+ so that it is there permantly you may have to ask some one in Adim to do this though or a moderator.

For information on how to use the "OtherMod" of the program, please look here -->  SFC:OP Shiplist Chooser and New Mods

There is plenty of technical information you may need, but if it is not, or unclear, please let me know!

To Forum Moderators:
I can not edit the first post I made in this thread.  I get the message "This post can no longer be edited because the maximum edit time has expired"

Is there any way for me to bypass tihs so I can update the information as needed?

Thanks in advance,
Strat

Program that will load different SFC:OP mods for you.

For example,

If you want to play a game in GSA one minutes and then want to play on dyna next, each place uses some different files.  Usually people have to uninstall and reinstall mods, or manually switch files.

These SFC:OP Shiplist Chooser does this automatically, quikcly, and easily; along with some other features.

Does this info help any?

It doen't work all that well for a single plater canpaign if thart is where you are coming from Don.I had problems with this and Strat needs to test it out a lot more single player campaigns.I really think it is more for GSA thant Dnya 2 or GW I found a better way through Window XP file and folder mover to move shiplist around.Strat needs to do some more work on this for single and multi. When I click a ship in the shipyard in sp campaign the screen goes black it seem this works if you use any shiplist in there especially Taldrens Own. I just use FireSouls now.

Since OP+ 3.3 was released I have had to rewrite the Chooser.  But since I had to do this, I decided to add some feature and make some fixes. I'm almost done.

This Chooser will do the following in addition to what it already does:

1) Will Provide Support for Taldren's origional files, OP+ and any new versions released, along with 4 slots for custom or new SFCOP mods.

2) The new Chooser will provide support for changing between mods even as detailed as the TNG mod.

3) The new Chooser will have the ability to detect new mods automatcally and install them automatically

4) The new chooser will support single player campiagns (metaassets)

I have taken in acount already these issues you guys mention, and are working to make the spec chooser fill all your needs.

I think the biggest asset to this upgrade is it autodetecting new mods and installing mod files to its own data base.  It will be very differnt to what you have now.  I have to rewrite much code.

I will be making sure it is compatible with things as simple as OP+ to things as major an overhaul like TNG by Chris Jones.
