Could someone tell me what happened to Rogue's and the Galactic Paint and BodyShop??
They're up one day and down the next.
Also about Atra's site. I know he got banned from the forum but it's been a long time and I still can't get anything from his site except his message in a zip format.
Anyone know the deal on that?

DTW is no longer doing anything with SFC or gaming in general, due to real life issues. His site is hosted by Mackie but no one is maintaining the site eventually it will stop to work and all the work he did will be lost.

well try to get them so it wont be lost, i made that my self with eras of war a few years back so the stuff from the site wont be lost if no one keep it alive.

from atra well he never respond to is email so there no way to know what he will do with is site, if you want a model from is site tell us what is it and some of us have them so we will send it to you.

hmmm...

Atra does respond to E-mails, but i do believe currently he is not bothering with SFC anymore. He has not given any general premissions yet about the ships at his site, so no one really knows what to do about his work and if we can mirror it. I have not Been about to contact DTW for awhile so I also don't know what to do about his stuff, I will not touch it with out premission.

well since my sites theme(when its up) is keeping older ships and designs design alive if the owner has given upon i have startedto download them all and hold them on back up disc untill a time where my site is up 9where i will post a list of said ships) and if anyone needs or would like one of his models thay can email me and i can send it to them (this bypasses the mirrioring issue as it counts as file sharing) therefore if we have lost contact with him at least we havent lost his models this applys to any moddeler who deals with any sfc game models as ive got alot of HDD Space and about 100 Blank DVDs so we are talking about a finished archive of about 100,000 ships (if thats possible)
the reasson why im willing to do this is because i might aswell archive something that will help out everyone instead of downloading other stuff that only benifets me

m still trying to make a web site for the new eras of war, and i will aslo be able to host ship from anyone who want it, i use a external date storage (out site hd) to store all the sfc mod i have on my maine hd and i have also the on cd's so i got a lot of backup of mods.

if you want i can send you copy of cd's with the mod from eras of war so you will aslo have a backup of the mod, so if for some reason i lost them someone else will have it.

I have storage space at home for CDs with no problems the only problem for you will be cost. I live in the US California to be a little more exact, but it really comes down to where you live if you are going to ship a item to someone (over seas is very expensive).

that is true what method do you have of file trasfer other than email i have yahoo and msn messengers at my dispossal so if your willing to send a few hours infront of your pc sending and reciving ships in zipped format i will do the same (time differances dont concern me as i can stay up whole nights with little or no thought) so i leave it to you but if you could have a small list so i can see what you have i could make a conclusion on what i would be intrested in a list of some of my ships can be found in this forum under the title "Archive List" that way we avoid the cost of shipping as we have to pay for the net anyway
