I'm impressed with the French

Politics aside (like I care to interfere in their politics anyways, it is THEIR country, not ours), first the Concorde (in partnership with the Brits) and now this marvel!

 Id hate to slip on that thing. Werent those matchbox cars at the base of that support?

Ah yes, the bloody huge bridge on the Millau road. Should improve things for people driving round there - it creates a very big shortcut.

I wonder how long it will be before some folks start bungee jumping off of it? I would try it if it was guaranteed safe, can you imagine the rush? No amusement park in the world could match that ride!

I just hope the same people who designed and built their revolutionary and amazing airport terminal that is falling down on people aren't working on this.

The Koreans or Japanese or Hong Kong people (I forget which) literally built an island in the sea for a huge international airport! It has struts underneath the complex to compensate for any land change whether it goes up or down.

The Bridge Being considered  From Italy to Sicily is better IMHO.

Don't count on it anytime soon!

The high speed rail line between Rome and Naples was supposed to be finished years ago--and it's still not done.  There are issues of right-of-way.
