I wonder how many times they had to film that to get it exactly right? I was impressed with the valves, that's very tricky to get them to swing at a perfect angle. The electric fan being plugged in and then running across and ripping the plug out and still zooming across the floor was pretty cool too. Someone was either a genius or the staff was very bored when they came up with that one. Impressive commercial but most Americans would rather see the Caddy commercial with "Rock N Roll" by Led Zeppelin blaring.

If I was in advertisement, I would show the morning and evening rush hours in cities, people frustrated, the gas guage going down on normal cars, use over the week, etc... Then I would show a happy person in his hybrid with the radio playing, beebopping in traffic, and the gas guage barely moving. He or she then arrives home to open the mailbox to find the tax rebate check! Then I would show monthly fuel cost stats and m.p.g. in the city/highway stats and have the happy actor asking "What will YOU choose?"

BTW, Does anyone know Mexican cable sucks? It was so nice watching the commercial in pieces. Cablemas, ha, they need to be renamed Cableless. Yes, even though my DSL equipment was rushed DHL Express, the techs obviously are taking siestas still as nobody has come to fix the installation problem. Gotta love life in a second world country.   It could be worse, I could be stuck in Haiti or Africa with minimal internet services.
