What software allows u to edit music file length?

As tital asks.  Looking for just basic sodtware to edit mp3 and wav file length.  Also software that allows to to piece together sepearte sound files into 1 bigger one. The cheaaper the better.

nero 6 has an addon called wave editer for that sort of thing i have it on crack if you wanna try it out i can email it you  

(i do not approve of cracks but fro trial use its worth it so if you like it buy it)
