Of course in the "real world" the likelyhood of drones losing lock after the target cloaks is a bit greater (more lock checks) so while it's not a "SFC3 come out and fight you cloaking coward 'cos I'm a manly Fed" cloak it does/did work quite well if you had a sense of timing.

Yeah, that was all bad. I finaly get the chance to teach J'inn how to kill with skill in place of cheese, and what happens? Instead of drafting J'inn and Marcus, I find that I've been mission dragging for God knows how long, and I get a nice little Klink AI to kill while Marcus uses my charge like a punch balloon. Next time, it might be a good idea to use the Rom chat channel to talk locations. That way the Hunters wont come looking for nice young tender Rommies to eat.

Umm not got any where I can read up on playing rom ? could save us all some hassle
Things like best ship to fly stuff like that (I gather the R-WB+ is not good in P vs P unless you fighting shuttles)
Any help would be a god send(and stop me flying a freighter for most of the run)

LT, I am assuming that in your WB+ you are fighting shuttles that don't get to fire back. Otherwise, it could get real ugly.

Am I the only one who can reliably kick F-CA ass in a WB+???   All ya need is patience, really, and don't forget about your pseudos.    The Fed's got 2 shuttles and he'll use em.  After that he's toast... literally.  Never, ever go into battle with drones.  And if you're doing PvP... uhhhmmm.... why ARE you doing PvP in a WB+???

You won't see too many humans driving an F-CA. We usually get stuck in a DD(which is worse) to start an early era campaign. If, God forbid, I ever did get into a fight with a WB+ in a stock CA... either OL hell or prox monkey time. As it is, I'd consider the WB+ on par with the F-DD. The first thing you want to do, before even getting close to the front line, is get out of it.

Maybe we could trade in our R-WB+ for a Z-DD.

Renegade survived a lesson with J'inn?!?!?

Hhmmm... maybe we should bestow an honorary membership into KAT/KOTH for him. That takes talent.

Maximillius, are you talking about drones as in "don't go against them", or "Don't use them"?

We need to set up a Rom Training night, cuz Im doin good against AI but so far im about 2-8 for PvP.  (I dont recall who the 2 were, but I think it was a Rom flying Hydran in an inferrior ship both times)

I deny my lack of knowledge in Romulan technologys.  I deny the existance of Romulan technologys.  I deny the exsitance of the Romulans.  There, I think that aobout covers it.

I was saying not to go against them.  Even 2 drones will knock all your weapons.  The PlaR is really fragile, and you've only got 4 ph1's, plus an ultra-fragile match-stick hull.  Nonetheless, it's still my favorite ship.  It's so slow you have to either fight or die.    I'd love to go head on with a F-FF, DD, CL, CA  PvP, just to show it CAN be done.

The problem with the WB is power and the R torp.

The 'R' torp takes up too much space as well. I never target the R torp for a hit and run since it accounts for so much on the % of getting hit anyway.

Pff..... Amateurs .....

Here is how it is done:

In the unlikely events that a random fluctuation in your data storage unit created the impression that such a thing as the Romulan Empire or the SPQR fleet exists, you are strongly recommanded to format your hard disk as well as purchase the new patch on your antivirus. If your motherboard is incompatible with the Romulan Advanced Logic Enhancer chip (Romulan ALE for short), we suggest you replace it immediately.

Your new motherboard will receive the new upgrade free of charge. Our service is so good that any update to the Romulan ALE chip will be done in a hassle free maner. It will be as if we never touched your computer. You can trust us on that. That chip is designed to create a back up of every bit of data send to and received from your computer. That data is then sent to a secure location where it will be analysed and stored free of charge. If you ever lose your data, you can rest assured that we won't! We can even send you an edited version that will overwrite your current data if we feel that you are about to suffer a major computer problem.

Our computer maintenance moto is:
"No hassle data analysis and edition at no cost"
