ok as i stated in my last thread a few times i will be starting a web site soon (i found out that i have 30MB free with my net providers) and as one of the main ongoing projects i would like to do is with everyones permission make a word document with a list of everyones ship archive with the small beautyshot next to it this way anyone looking for anything if it be old or new additions to the world of SFC can cheak it out and find out which model they want and who has it.

it just makes life a bit easyer when it comes to getting a model which you may be after and it saves requesting that one be made also with the rare happening of modders disappearing and taking almost all their ships with them it leaves a gap of longing for people like MP (no offence dude) and myself and a handfull of other people who have been asking for ships that have been requested but have already been made

so far i have lists from myself so far over 1000 ships and variants, Manitoba last cheak it was about 700 ships and i know Klingon Fanatic will be gathering a list of his stuff for me aswell.

I know its a large operation but i hope it will be worth it. thanx for your time and hopefully your lists

P.S when i get peoples lists if i find duplicates (which i will) i will simply add your name to the list of owners but only with their permission or if i can sort it out there would be a small messaging link that could inform you of a required model that you have kind of like the notifications about favorite threads ect ect

oh and one last thing before i forget this site of mine will also have a complete list of up to date web pages that supply downloads or links for mods, models, textures and mod parts for kitbashers

groovy manitoba, (any luck with those blank textures for the projects?) and also do you know anyone who could port over from armada to sfc i have a  hand full of selected ships who need it.
im hoping that this thread and project wont die half way though as i know people lose intrest unless it gives them a nice new shiny model in a certain time but the incentive for this is when its done everyeon will be able to get there hands on almost every model made

and thats what we have put together so far im still working on my list and i know a few others are when the list is complete i will have the BS pic of each ship and all duplicates will be removed while keeping the owners of the ship in a small drop box

Well thanx to the sheer lack of help and contributions im not going to be bothing with the list idae as only manitoba, Mp was keeping me updated on his list and kliongon fanatic was working on his but no one even bothered asking about the idea or how would such a list look not even a pm to tell me that it could not work so everyone you have just lost your chance to show off your models and get more hits on your sites because of the lack of intrest

Hey man I say we go for it. I mean yeah right now it's only 4 of us but you realize how many ships the four of us have???? and how many new ones we all get from combining them all ? It's for the love of the game and the ships.People aren't interested <shrug> oh well. The 4 of us have more than enough ships to start a site and with the porting from other games as well.shoot I'm sure once it's up and running others will join in.

ok then on your request i say finish it even if it is 4 of us so Mp, manitoba, klingon fanatic could you complie a list which includes the BS pic from inside all the sfc3 ships if they havent got one they are simple to make and make it into a word document and email it me even if its in parts
as ive said a few time i know how big it is but hell if im willing to go though my archives and sort them all out (which is about blinking time) and if manitoba has got some spare time perhaps you could work with me on a nice simple website that could hold all of this stuff because my web building knowlage is limited anyway lets prove to the others that its worth fighting for and that its a damn good idea perhaps by keeping this thread on page 1 by keeping each other updated. but please remember im not going to be holding this all by myself so pitch in guys i know we are all busy people and real life comes first but this is a groovy idea and lets make it happen people

Any updates from you guys im still working on my list and trying to find the orignal names of some ships because they have been changed for mod purposes but my list has increased by 187 models fully textured with glows and hardpoints

well ive got a small update for you ive got all of jeff wallace's stuff from his little page on my hard drive and im trying my best to get them over to sfc3 without having to alter anything in them im also working on downloading all of wicked zombies (please note to authours of before mentioned ships these will not be released as downloads but only as a small peer 2 peer network for sharing of files and all credits will be kept the same as they are your babies)
