6 more days till i can start to add ships to the site.

there is also now a donation button on there it is strictly for the site only. for every $10 US  we can add 100mb to web space. it is completely voluntary. i will add more money to it myself also i figure we need a great site and to keep them going.  and i can add pages for other modelers also for them, so there can be a page for mine, and pages for others.

im sure i'll get heckles or some black balling for it, but i am setting it up for everyone. so when we get more space we can add a page per modeller,

let me know how this makes u guys fell. and it might help

You can also go to  50megs.com , it has a basic page editor and such, and 50 megs can do alot. Best of all....it's FREE!!!!

Good idea though Mani...if you're paying for it, it should be more stable, and you should have better bandwidth.

u want to make a little pic like we have right.

um want 3d proggy u have and picture proggy u have.  i usaually just use my max like i am going to be making a beaty shot and then just resize it to like 150*150 pixels i think is the size.  but if u want just upload the ship then i'll D'L it and make one for u.  like i said i just use my BS pixs and resize them usually.   glad u liked ur page pix.  to bad i cant do much more to a pic than that yet, beleive it or not i used max for that pix.  i looked al night sat for the pix of the ENT-G entering that junkyard where they were to find out who was stealing the parts. but had no luck.    if there is anything else just let me know.

OT so r u a squid medic?    i was an airdale myself. ie-jetmechanic.  and yes i have my shellback card.  which means all u polywogs out there must   to me.    i think i will have to come up with something like a shellback card for my sig2.

i sent more ships out to F_W to texture including the USS REAGAN it has a new hull type(xca  hull from OP) still havent quite figure that part out. i also have a new head for a post TNG roomie ship i have done still a little more tweaking it but it looks cool similar to the kerchan head style. just have to figure a hull style for that next.

Thanks but it was all Mani's doing, just my idea.My first ship is ready to go but for some odd reason when I try to log on to the site it tells me the site is not responding,or may be busy,or broken server.I'll keep trying. Also finished the basic textures on another ship, but I'll need a few more textures maps so that'll be my next project.Learning how to do that with Milkshape. Then I'll really be able to help getting all the ladies into their new clothes.
I'll be posting some money tomorrow to give us more space on the site.

Just out of curiousity, what is the temperature is it over there? I never think of the UK as being hot. I'm in Florida and it's in the 90s right now.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that. Sounds like an allergic reaction. Truthfully, I never liked the heat and I've lived my whole life in Florida. The worst heat I've ever been in was in summer 1998, when it reached 103 F with 100% humidity. The air conditioner in my apartment AND my car were broken. I was miserable!

my day and night job involves sitting infront of my pc for days at a time drawing, painting, designing ect ect(with the sun on my back) i think thats why my textures look so good (practise makes perfect) so not much time in the sun which doesnt bother me but when it gets to the point where you need to bury yourself in the coldest darkest pub around just to stay cool give me a double JD with coke and ice then the heat doesnt bother me anyway back to the subject i might post a couple of my designs on the site later if i can find something that wont scare you all (my stuff isnt as good as Azels but it still requires someone who knows how to make ships) but i havent done any stuff in ages so we will have to see what happens

thanxs KAENYE

its not to shabby for  FREE SITE.

F_W

hows those models coming, i have a ship i found, its got beautiful textures to it. nice and clean. its called Lcnx2000 i downloaded it last night.  even though it is just an excelsior with spefif textures.   something similar like that for the USS REAGAN would be sweet i think.

here is the link for it to look at it  http://sfc3.filefront.com/file.info?ID=25903

let me know ur opinion on it.

i have that model it is very nice and so are the textures i could put something like that onto the reagan if you want im only half way though the manitoba and the torqua because it takes me so long to apply the textures normaly i can re texture a ship in about 5 hours but since i not only have to draw the textures ive also got to place them on the model using a programme im not 100% sure how to use its a very slow process ive put a thread out asking for someone to help me group the areas together which would free up more time for drawing new textures but no one is intrested so i can only apolergise

Wow Mani if you can do that I'll be able to skin a few ships I have and F_W and myself can really bang em out. OK the ship is uploaded to the site Mani. You can create the pic and then post her to my page. Thanks again for helping me with that.Am heading to the site here in a minute and drop some mulla into the paypal. Working on 2 ships right now, already spoke to the owner of one of them and he loved the preliminary textures so I'm going to finish her and I have a NEW Klingon ship design that I'm gonna work on as well.Possibly make it a "joint venture" design. .I need to experiment with different textures before I commit.

Mp since im on the site now i will add the ship and make a pic up then i will send you the link and let you put an announcement out on the forums perhaps if we put our stuff on the thread "come and get them" as we can keep all the sites releases in one place and probaly get an admin to sticky it which means more publicity

Mani if your able to group the stuff all i have to do is slap the textures on which is just how i like working and then we will be cooking with anti-matter
oh BTW the fixed and grouped manitoba is starting to come on now all i need to do is work out how to give the top and bottom of the saucer different textures. also could you make a small group on the lower sacuer where it goes in for either a shuttlebay or a deflector dish because i have some great textures to try out on that little part i will send you an email with a pic of which area im on about and which parts should be grouped

Thank you guys both
