Shocking...

...okaaay.....I just got back from a place that I am loathe to go because I really get skeeved out every time I go there.  However it was supposedly going to be convenient and save me a trip to Best Buy which is much further away.

I stopped in to Hell-Mart (Wal-Mart) with the idea that I could quickly run in, get the newly released special edition of The Good, The Bad and the Ugly on DVD and then get the hell out of there before the place sucked the life out of me.  My plan failed because they didn't even freaking have the edition!.  There were plenty of copies of Honey and whatever other inane film you can come up with, but they didn't even have the greatest DVD release of this month in stock.  Now...i'm a relatively avid fan of Jessica Alba...but how do you have Honey on your shelves but you can find room for The Good, The Bad and The Ugly Extended Version Collector's Set!?  Bastards!

...another tiny bit of my soul has been sucked out of me and I still have to drive to Best Buy in this freaking heat....oof!

That'll teach me...

I just got back from wal-mart myself. I had to get a hose for the trees that Storm had brought up last weekend, and more dog food. It was Crowded even for a weekend.

Stephen in DR. Doom type voice says <I DON'T LIKE CROWDS OF STRANGERS (Unless It furthers my true purpose)>

recreational Vehicle (RV) with it's own means of locomotion. most are crosses between trailers homes and medium cargo trucks. They are expensive. some around 250K new.

If you have the original DVD release (as I do), there's quite a lot that's different.  It's a 2-disc special edition with gobs of extras.  If I'm not mistaken, there's 18 mins of additional footage that's been added in to make it approach the version fo the film that was premiered in Rome.  This among many other things...

Going to walmart on a busy day drains me like a swarm of energy leaches would. Exhausted for no reason, can't think headache, irrational rage, blood sugar low trembles and weakness. I get that way sometimes in other large crowds but normally it's much worse there.

I just recently bought a three disk set of Eastwood's spagetti westerns.  Good stuff!  I'm not sure if  The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is the extended version or not, but I think it is.

Not the current extended edition.  The version you got in your 3-disc box set is probably the same one I already have...which is the initial DVD release.  It has some non-integrated extra footage that is dubbed in Italian...?

The actual "extended" version just came out three days ago.
