Very nice. Your models serve this community well. I'm glad the half baked retexture I posted didn't discourage the effort as I'm sure this will be a more complete model.

Your texture certainly wasnt half baked, considering the old model i think you did the best that could possible be done with it

Thanks Wolfsglen. If I can take credit for anything it would be recognizing that the texture set was compatable with Gow's Klingon work. I simply want to be very low key about these retexturing projects I am doing. I make neither the mesh nor the textures but borrow from others work. Perhaps I can be a little more ballanced about that presentation. I think it is a pride thing with being excessively humble about it. If I am to error then I choose to do so in that direction.

I am almost at the point that I am willing to learn 3DsMax to see what I can do with that tool. If I can work that then Photoshop might be in the cards as well.

I admit, in the schematic is hard to make out the protruding torpedo tube. So for me its going to take some time to get used to that. As far as the texturing goes, the closer to the schematic the better, IMHO.

As a person that does do retexture work and makes the textures as I go. I think any texture work you are happy with is all that matters. If that is the way you want it to look then release it that way, if ppl don't like it they are alway free to redo them themselves. If they think it is easy to do texturing/modelling then let them step up and lets see if they can withstand us being demeaning about their work. Being critical is not bad as long as you are willing to put in what it is you dislike and why, or at least offer a suggestion to improve it.

Those that can do, the rest need to get out of the way!

I also agree with Azel about the first one looking more reptillian, but it would matter not to me if you released it that way. I tend to retexture things to my liking anyways, or just to see what my mind will bring out on a particular ship. Not everything I do will see the light of day, I have had about 15-16 different Kligon backgrounds now for some work I am doing on those. I finally decided which one I will go with and have discarded the rest, now I just have to find some kligon ships to work the details out on.
