The GQ Fleet announce The NEar Distant Future will be released Friday 21 May, 2004 for beta testing. Please visit http://www.theneardistantfuture.net for more details. There will be a Beta test server up Friday as well so we can test the map and missions. Some mission scripts are from ElKarnak, Pelican and some written by NCC and Myself.   I downloaded NDF but there are problems. Only the federation/Klingon alliance works as it should. The others[ Cardassians-Romulans and Pirates] can not be played. You can only meet them in combat as opponents. This frustrates me to say the least. Also on my computer the patch file can be downloaded but not installed. Every time i get the errormessage that the configuration of the program or the patch is wrong and installing it again could solve this. I tried that many times but it never worked. Due to my mental handicap [Autism] i have been unable to find out how to solve the problems with this mod. I hope that someone who reads this can solve it. Bye,Old1.
