My son starts his trek to Ft Huachuca
« on: May 17, 2004, 01:57:37 pm »
My son leaves Omaha today for his next assignment, Ft Huachuca.  Those who have been in the military know what this can mean.

Anyways..he's heading south through Witchita, to OK City then to Amarillo.   Then to Clovis, Roswell (lucky kid) and Las Crucis (SP?) and on to FH.

If anyone on this route wants to PM me a contact number  in case he get's any problems..I will pass it on to him if/when he calls..

Thanks to all of you...I won't abuse this

really though, I've only dealt with hwachca by video teleconference. Everytime those guys were in our classes we had to get up two hours early to synch with them (two time zones away from here.)

When I was growing up my father was stationed at Fort Huachuca for a while.  It was actually one of my favorite places.  I really liked arizona and the town of Sierra Vista.

Well, I hope he likes it...since he's an AF brat, he's bee to a number of places (two weeks after he was born in Utah, we went to Wurtsmith AFB)...funny thing is, my mom was living in Apache Junction AZ until last January, when she moved to Rochester NY to be with my youngest brother and her mom (Grandma is 93)...

Life, don't talk to me about life......
