Romulan KCN available for use
« on: May 17, 2004, 04:27:11 pm »
Now that I have found a way to create a personal website for myself I am now able to offer up some of the retexture work I have done in the past. What I plan to do is to cycle some of these models through and make them available to whoever cares to use them. The ones I'm going to target are those that you don't see much of and I think of as useful for helping SFC to be a more visualy interesting game to play (eg. every race should have at least two different kinds of freighters)

Most of these are going to be pretty modest in scope and won't tax the game engine. This way you can enjoy playing some of the fun large scale engagements created by people like Nuclear Wessel's and Karnak without causing the game to stutter. Understand that I am by no means proficient with photoshop and don't have a legal copy of Max. However, I find that one can accomplish quite a bit with a little cut and paste and some selective blending. Still I hope some of you will find a useful little model here and there.

Therfor, in the spirit of sharing I give you one of the first ones I ever tried to rework. Lord Delekhan's RBB repainted with some textures borrowed from the D2 N'Neikha...

I would include a direct download link but seem to be thwarted at each attempt. You may visit my tiny little website and find the download link there.

Lord Delekhan's Romulans and Klingons where some of my favorites of the SFC community.  Your retexturing of the RBB has made the model EVEN BETTER!!!

Thanks guys... I feel all humble and stuff. I tried to cover my bases in the rather lengthy introduction. There will be just a few that are even worth popping here. But if it brings just a little SFC joy to a few of you then the mission will be gloriously accomplished. I've got about 50 Meg to work with and I'll put a new one in rotation every few days as time permits.

Happy hunting as I must be off to work.

QaPla... K'plah... Just how do you spell that properly?
