See....As I've always said, we need to privatize space flight...it's the only way progress will be made. This is great news...maybe in 10-15 years, we'll be able to take ride....

Privatize Space Flight?

Are you kidding???

You say this now, but wait till you have to go up in a private-ly owned spacecraft ownwd by Microsoft- with the little "powered by Windows XP" sticker on the side. Doesn't that give you a warm fuzzy feeling in the... small of your back?

Oh, crap, cabin fire!

Computer, activate halon and close off the affected areas. Yes, I want to end current action. No, I don't want to save. Yes, I want to end now. What do you mean error in Explo....

 BOOM

Yeah, we need to let people continue to experement in building spacecraft. Perhaps it will push the government to advance their own programs- or at least buy or steal the research and use it in their own spacecraft. But I think it's a really bad idea to let free enterprise have free rein in this department... lest we have orbiting MicroSquash billboards obscuring the Moon and corperate claims to real estate on that same beautiful nightlight. Do you really want to look up at night ans see the Starbuck's siren painted over Apollo 11's landing sight?
