Aw, c'mon, Atolm, you mean it's not like the Zoids or Zorgs or Zombs or whatever in Power Rangers? There's no bald guy with a British accent looking out the cranium window or something like that??
C'mon- imagine a Sovereign/Galaxy/Ambassador or some other large ship, puts on mega force fields, sticks out it's two or three metal feet, and lands on some ball of rock Voyager style. Then it transforms into this humongous shield and pistol carrying mean and ugly metal/composite/force field guy and proceeds to zap away all the Federation's enemies. Imagine how many Borg it could squash by stepping on them! Then it could relax and sip tea or deuterium with the original Ultraman.
"Number One, pick up the pace, we're trudging today, no mincing steps, please!"
"Captain, when we transformed, all the liquor spilled over in Ten-Forward!"
Or, like in days of yore, it lands all transformed in front of an enemy starbase. "Look, those chickenhearted Starfleets lammed and left us this cool gift to assuage our anger!" "Yeah! Tractor it in and show it to the Commander in the morning after we get a few Zs in!" And the rest is mythology (to paraphrase a certain blue genie).
