"Baraba libero or Jesus libero?" asked Pilatus the crowd.

"Baraba libero, Baraba libero!" answered the crowd.

"OK, Baraba libero...Jesus centre forward!"

Libero is another name for a sweeper - ie a central defender who has no set marking duty and has the licence to roam forward and support the attack. Commonly used in a 352 formation (or 532) in German football, and I think some Italian teams use the concept also.

In other words, Sirgod is talking about real football. Btw, the last part of his post should read "centre forward".

It's been over 30 years since I took any Latin classes, and this just had me stumped.
