I was wondering if you took requests. Not personal ones, but one that could be shared with all.

It really depends on the ship, how easy (or challenging) it is, and how much reference material the ship has.

Well...

What I had in mind was your texturing touch on Mackie's Galahad Class/U.S.S. Explorer. I've already been given the go-ahead for retextures on her. She's available for download at www.the-tcs.net/core/portal.php

LOTS of refererence there...

Ask and you shall receive.

It's the smaller of the two ships. The larger is the Hellbender, BTW

I could retexture it, but why not just use Captain Ron's (aka gotafarmyet?) textures, since he already redid the FCX model? This ship is built from the same mesh and probably wouldn't take much to swap out the skins.

Haven't got a clue as to how to do that. Plus, aren't the hulls different anyhow? The Excalibur (FCX) has a cutout in the forward primary hull and the two nav deflectors in the secondary...

Besides, I'd like to see YOUR take on her...

After downloading it, I see that it only uses half the FCX parts. Which means it'd take extra work retexturing the rest of the model. I have enough of my own ships on my to-do list as it is, and I've never been fond of tampering with someone else's work anyway

Picture

Yup found this guy kicking it in a corner of my HDD, changed the background pattern and threw on a Connie Saucer and got this pictured above. Still needs the engine textures finished, and still have no plans to finish it soon, but it is on that wanted list by a few. (good thing I kept the PSP files for it in its directory)

The top pick is what is inside the windows under the hanger bay. I have the BB version shown above and a slightily different version for the DN as well. So it looks like I had already started this ship and then forgot about it.

Hey Captain! Thanks for digging that up. I can see you've got a good start on her. I understand you have her onthe back burner, and that's fine as it is your project. Besides, I'm out of collecting commission indefinately.

Hey Guys...
Let me first say... nicely, Please Give it a rest
WZ has done alot as of late and TONS over the years
Its cool to have requests....But the man is busy
I am sure he Appreciates our love for his work...but he is an artist
He does what he feels he in the mood to do...otherwise you'll just get alot of half-finished
half-a$$ ed work that may never come to fruition
I ask all of us to take that into consideration when asking a request
to anyone let alone WZ

Thanks
And by all means No disrespect intended

AND NOW
Wheres my Ent-H!!!!
LOL
