As a few of you know, I used to be associated with German Shepherd Rescue of Houston. As one of our projects, we built an "Art Car" for the Houston Art Car parade.

Well, he's in a contest and the first prize is $1,500, which goes to the dogs.. literally. In Houston, most of the shepherds we got were heartworm positive and had plenty of medical problems. The average vet bill for each dog was about $450, and they were adopted out for a donation of $125... do the math.
