FANTASTIC!!!! She's truly a beauty to behold, and worthy of the name, Enterprise! Wonderful work, both of you!

You know, I just had a really wild idea to add to the technology and wonder that is the Enterprise G:

How about a vessel, fully independent (warp capable, etc.) that fits in into the space in the primary hull. It would be somewhat horseshoe shaped (in order to "snap" into Enterprise), and serve as a support vessel for specialized missions, sort of like a flying mission module, ala the Nebula and Miranda Classes. It would have several variants, like a hospital type for disaster assistance, science labs for an extended expedition, military equipment with extra torpedos, phaser strips for border conflicts, etc.

Whatcha think?

Just thought of yet another potential use: What about a mini deployable starbase? Scenario: The Enterprise G is sent to an uncharted but scientifically interesting planet. A sudden emergency requires this Venture Class Starship to immediately deploy to the Romulan Neutral Zone. Instead of taking the whole ship, she leaves her "orbital starbase" module behind to continue studying the planet while her mothership helps quell a Romulan incursion.
