Holy Moley! That is some top-notch texturing. You've really got some talent there, sir! When you send it to Azel, please be aware that he had a death in the family recently and may not be geting back to you for a little. Just so that you know he's not ignoring you...give him some time.

Looks great, Jeff. I especially like the nacelles. They look great in all of the views, top, bottom, and side. It's hard to say from a couple of pics, but Dizzy's suggestion of raising the bridge seems like a good idea, altgough I can see from the front that it isn't that low.

Great news! we have quite a lineage going here. Let's see...there are now models for NX-01, 1701, 1701-A, 1701-B, 1701-C, 1701-D, 1701-E, 1701-F, 1701-G, 1701-H, 1701-J (in the works) and Zero Era (in the works).

Now we need a 1701-I to fill in that gap.

But then again, there's a whole line out there? 1701-K, 1701-L, 1701-M, etc. (You get the idea.)

You know, I just had a really wild idea to add to the technology and wonder that is the Enterprise G:

How about a vessel, fully independent (warp capable, etc.) that fits in into the space in the primary hull. It would be somewhat horseshoe shaped (in order to "snap" into Enterprise), and serve as a support vessel for specialized missions, sort of like a flying mission module, ala the Nebula and Miranda Classes. It would have several variants, like a hospital type for disaster assistance, science labs for an extended expedition, military equipment with extra torpedos, phaser strips for border conflicts, etc.

Whatcha think?

Just thought of yet another potential use: What about a mini deployable starbase? Scenario: The Enterprise G is sent to an uncharted but scientifically interesting planet. A sudden emergency requires this Venture Class Starship to immediately deploy to the Romulan Neutral Zone. Instead of taking the whole ship, she leaves her "orbital starbase" module behind to continue studying the planet while her mothership helps quell a Romulan incursion.
