Why are the Rommies sending so many SOS messages as they prepare for DOE? Well, I have uncovered the answer to this sticky question. Sure, the Romulan fleet now boasts the heavy carrier Imperial Standard, but the Rommies still haven't fully grasped the concept of carrier operations. You see the results of their early efforts here:

Oh well. I'm sure they will get better with practice.

However, judging by the polite reception we have gotten from the Gorn, I think they took your jest in the correct spirit.
