This ship was designed as the light cruiser of the tos period. it did come out before "enterprise" created thier version. here are the images:

Lol nice renderings... A beauty shot   I always liked you models because of the details included. For instance your Miranda, Constitution and Excelsior ver 3.0 had a tiny ball-turret phasers included on the mesh (not only textures)   Nicely done
(and a couple of "notworthies" for ya   )

The answer is no on that one, he made it under contract for the gaming house more than likily. Plus he had signed something about releasing work as well once he started at Maddoc software.

The real question is will he release it after the game comes out and this one is not in the final cut, like he did for SFC 2 EAW the about 6 X-Ship prototypes that did not make the cut.

actuaslly the real problem w. releasing this ship is technbology. sfc 3 cant handling this model because it doesnt use bump maps. alot of the detail is in bump.

Anyway I will by this game if it is released in... Just tell me when: jimkirk@go2.pl   Just don't tell now
BTW I respect your will about showing us your art-work only (not releasing it or sharing with it) and have been admiring it since "STS" was ever born. You're a quite damn good but a modeller...

BTW I heard some rumours about some fanatics threating you. If anything such like happens again I will take a plane to U.S. and kill such people where they stand... Qapla` (Maybe I am kidding maybe I am not...) Anyway in my opinion everybody has his right to protect his own art-work and I respect this right with all hands and I do not respect things like threating anybody, offending etc... by any means

Esentially: You have my support man   Outstanding!!!

phuck!

This looks like a great game engine, especially if the base is the (terrible IMO) Armada 2 format. I would've liked to see some SFC2 conversions of LS's Conny someday, but oh well.

Anyways, Good luck, and keep the ships coming!

enhanced armada engine? sh*t...armada 3? Interesting things to speculate about there  hehe...nice model any how, though I think the designs they actualy  used are better than this one. (hey, come on..that intrepid rocked way more than this design). Speaking of the intrepid...U got  one laying around over there?

Very nice looking model Rick.  Can you tell us any stats on the model?  Poly count, and texture size and quantities?

So I'm guessing you'd have to find a way to texture those details into one BMP, which would take up a [bleep] load of your valuable time, and there fore impossible, correct?
