Some of you may know that I am moving to a new place that I took possession of on April 1st. However, the move will result in my losing the DSL that I currently have. It can't be moved.

( Make story short. I have a grandfathered hardwired DSL which predates the PPPoE system. It's not sharing the phoneline, but is actually on its own copper. It's cheap (70$/month CDN), unlimited, full server allowed as long as non-commercial, static IP. )

I am in luck. I have just signed up with an ISP after doing a considerate amount of research, searching and asking questions.

I am getting:
PPPoE (no rewiring to be done)
64.95$ for 3000/640 kbits/sec bandwith
No caps, unlimited transfers.
Servers are allowed.
10$ more for a Static IP.

Total: 80.20$ CDN.

Plan of action:
I'm going to set up a small Linux server there, make it work with PPPoE, set up the website(s), move the DNS entries for klingon.stasis.ca, and make this painlessly smooth for you all. OP+ and my other downloads should not go offline at any time with this plan of action.

Apparently, PPPoE DSL can't be offered to me at my new place..

This isn't good.. I'm trying again with a different ISP ..but.. ..

Once again, FS, as I've told you in the past, if things get sticky and you need someone to host your files for the interem just hollar at Frey or I. Either one of us have the bandwidth and space.

Best,
