It looks like this is an expansion.  Shadowbane is already an MMORPG.  You can go out to the store, buy it today, and play it tonight.  

My guess is that Taldren is contracted to write the game expansion.  That's a good thing because Taldren does listen to user feedback and does good stuff.

By the way, you thought that SFB fans were rabid and fanatic, Taldren?  You ain't seen nuthin' yet.  MMORPG PvP enthusiests are like the Romulan players who want undetectable cloaks and undefeatable Plas-R's and be generally invincible...except more so.  

No matter what you do you will always get precicely 51% of the people mad at you!

How much is it, and will it have items (like the Everquest  time cards) which allow those to purchase time in advance for those who don't want to use (or don't have one) a CC over the internet?

I do remember seeing this one somewhere as a demo disk year before last before I shipped out and thinking that it looked interesting; but as a principal I'm oposed to buying a gamy every month in addition to the $49.99 I just paid you for it. Kinda seems redundant to pay rent on a game .

But if the money is going to a good cause, then I'm open to changing that point of view; and making sure that Taldren employees can afford that delicious dirt they sometimes eat to appologize for a patch being late is definately a good cause.

Hate to disapoint you guys,but it is for the Asian market...not the US market.

(Maybe they'll make a version for North America and Europe...but right now Taldren is just making it for the Asian Market.).
