The Vorcha class is a kool ship IMHO, but I never get to see episodes where they are in a serious battle, where I can see all the weapons shes got, I know about the disruptors in the front, i saw it in redemption, and in the  way of the warrior, we see the disruptor beam, but where else are the weapon located at, other disruptors I mean

and are there more than just disruptors and photons on klingons, any toher special weapon

The only other episode where I saw a Vorcha in combat was the DS9 episode where the 2 fleets are in a standoff.  Sisko finally starts the battle as he is running out of time to stop the destruction of the mines blocking the wormhole.  The Klinks finally show up and you see one shot where they are wheeling to engage the enemy.  They poured MASSIVE amouts of firepower into the Dom/Cardy fleet.

I assumed that the Vorcha class Klingon vessels were the replacements for the aging Bird of Preys. They are fast, manouverable, better defended and are equipped with cloaking devices.

Apart from the afore mentioned disrupter cannons and those beams, the Starfleet Armada game gave them the Polaron Torpedo.

I don't think these ships are meant to be warships, with guns everywhere and whatnot, that's a job for the Negh'Vars

No, not at all Frazzle,
The "Vor'cha" is an "Attack Cruiser" Certainly the equivelent of perhaps an "Ambassador" Class Fed Heavy Cruiser and a lot newer too, The Bird of Prey came in 2 variants,
1 was the "B;'rel which was not much more than a frigate, The 2 the "K,vort" which was really a War Destroyer/Light Cruiser -
3 of those took on and had the Enterprise D beat in "Yesterdays Enterprise"

A Vor'cha is without doubt a Warship and a handy one at that, The Negh'var came out much later and were limited in their builds as all capiata ships are (eg: Soveriegn Class etc)

If you want to know where the weapons arcs are click on the button at the lower right hand corner. This will show you all your weapon arcs and where you can place the dizzies where you like to .It is really up to you where you would like them to be becuase this is your custom ship.

This what I have done with mine.I made mine the way that I felt like it but don't just think of the weapons. You must think of the hole ship aswell sort of like bow to stern. This is when you are refitting the ship.I would suggest playing around with it a little and experiment with it.

I hope this helps you out

PS You might want to read the manual aswell and don't over power the ship to.

You can see a Vor'cha Attack CA in action against the Defiant in a one on one battle where Sisko is rescuing Gul Duhkat and the Detapa Council at the tail-end of the 2nd episode in DS9's Way of the Warrior.
