I was at Disney in Orlando for my little boy's 2nd birthday (that is the nice thing about living in Florida, you can just pick up and go to Disney whenever you want) and I found myself on the "It's A Small World" ride, which entranced him.
Towards the end of the ride I the little boat that we were travelling in came to a stop as they exit had backlogged. We found ourselves in one spot for a minute or two.
As I sat there listening to the relentless repetition of the rides chrous, it occured to me "We might have just died, and this could be hell." It seems pleasant enough initially. Joyful singing in the background, a nice cool breeze. And you are sitting --which has got to be a plus, in hell.
But imagine just going around the ride over and over, repetitions of the ride as relentless as the song chorus itself. The first 500 years would be the worst --after that you would give in to the sweet release a mental breakdown and would not be in any condition to listen anyways.
I'm pretty sure that if there is a hell, Walt Disney is down there designing it for them.
(Side note: The next time you are on that ride, look in the 'water'. There has got to be thousands of dollars of thrown coins on the bottom. We wondered if this was the Disney Bonus Plan, with the poor sods who have to clean it up once a year getting to split it... )
