Topic: Missed you by one day Storm

I was informed you would be there today at the fair, I apologize. I met Seth, his beautiful wife, and a close friend of Seth's. I could not find his Vietnam vet friend who I helped earlier when VA tried to BS him in wartime dental injury treatments, I would have liked to have met him as well.

Today sucked, it rained like Hades and even Seth's truck got stuck   enjoyed meeting my friends, but I wasn't feeling well and was havfing anxiety attacks so only stayed 2 hours or so. I was in the hospital yesterday and am now on Librium.

Seth has one of your tools, the table I could not get this morning as my mom was not home and I do not know her cell. Leda and others will be there next week so she can bring it and you can upload your tools.

I think you and Steve will have a great time next week.

I'm supposed to fly to El Paso tomorrow but I may change that as I have DAV and VFW and Social Security stuff to take care of, as well as get some things mailed off ASAP (Leda sucks at that kind of stuff). If I do change my flight I will go to the VA clinic tomorrow morning for more meds and consultations. I also need to call VA El Paso because if I do arrive I prefer an escort at the airport, not that I'm dangerous, I just get anxious around strangers and lots of people when I'm not drinking.

May 1st is right around the corner, if I had not drank when I returned to Austin, I'd be with Vicky in Mexico again.   I'm not looking forward to a long admit somewhere  

If anyone is willing to host a pic, you can see my ex rose garden, I really did good when I was sober for 2 months, just goes to show what love and support can do for a person.

Renegade, if you read this, you are right, going alcohol free sucks as I cannot sleep well at all.

Toasty, I regret that you resigned your mod status, even whe4n you cracked down on me, you were always fair, IMO. I know that you are going through a lot right now so I understand. Please stay in touch with us.

Hey don't worry. I messed up my trip anyway. I got a late start and because I did not need to get Stephen I took 75 down figuring it would be a two hour trip. I missed the 75 to I 35 spur because I forgot and thought I had went too far. Naturally this meant I headed west into the heart of Dallas all the way to Fort Worth. I stopped for directions and took 360 ( Via I 20 west) down to 287 (which I missed and had to navigate back to) through Waxahatchie and got on the frontage road to I-35 thinking "hey 1.8 miles to FM 66; I can just stay where I'm at." but no the frontage road turns into another road going perpendicular to where I want so after I turn around and go back getting onto south (east) I 35 was not all that easy either. So I finally get to the fair site 15 minutes *AFTER* it closes. I beg my way in past the gate and see Sethan for all of ten minutes during which I made an ass out of my self because I was so flustered by the trip that I couldn't think or talk straight. I then went back through the Korean style mud to my car which was of course stuck. But for the next trip I will likely be starting from OKC so it is I 35 all the way. I should not have much opportunity to get lost. I did accomplish my reconn and on the bright side, I got to see much of Dallas and Six flags.

Jack; you are not being paid for doing what you are doing. I cannot complain when things go wrong on your end. Just take care of yourself. That is more important.

Jack - glad we finally got to meet.  I'm sorry we didn't have more of an opportunity to talk.

The van, by the way, is still stuck in the mud at the site.  We got it so far into the mud, they are afraid the backhoe will get stuck trying to get to it to pull it out.  All we can do is wait for things to dry out.  

Storm - good to meet you too.  We can try again later.  Hopefully neither of us will get stuck next time
