Currently, there is something wrong with the KOTH download area, so I'm putting the files on my computer. You may download it from there.

Couldn't you save yourself considerable bandwidth
by zipping the files? Text files usually zip to about
1/10th the size. (Just a thought).

Of course, you are assuming that everyone knows how to zip and unzip (oh gawd, the responses to that)?

Steel Claw, for some reason, the text files have extra bytes of infromation when downloading them.

I recommend putting the files in a zip file and see if that fixes the problem.

Also, please examine the file sizes and make sure they are exactly the same size. (Down to the last byte)

OK!

You now have an 85K zip file option to download to get both files. Amazing how both files are nearly 900K when unzipped.

Dark Elf,

I have fixed the errors and this time I even went so far as to test the downloads (should have done so the first time). All appears to work well now. Zip file is also available there.

just changed computers to avoid my dreaded 'drop connection after 3 minutes' bug, and I can't seem to get the bloody shiplist right. I'm downloading straight from DarkElf's site, and pasting it to both MetaAssets and assest/specs folders, and I'm still getting bad CRC: shiplist.txt HEEELLLLP!!!!

CM, i only replaced the files in the Assets/Specs folder. No problem with them. My files were copied form DE's site and then placed on mine.
