Tus, You can get  WinRAR here. There's a trial version available that you can DL free.

Thankyou again Starforce for hosting this and to Azel and Smiley, two BIG thumbs up. Sweet looking ship guys!

Smiley, which SFC2 UI would you suggest using for the HP's? I'll get it converted over. When the jpg files are converted to bmp the folder blows up to 84 megs I was planning on maybe resizing some of the textures down and/or reducing the color depth. Any objections to that?

I figured SOMEBODY has a machine that can handle 'er.
I plan to upgrade at some point, and that'll allow me to fly a lot of ships that would otherwise crash my game. I think of the Tempest as part of a "fun" investment for the future.
But for now at least I can oogle her in Model Viewer.

Yeah that's why I chose to take advantage of the fact that SFC3 can use jpgs - to save space! Can you imagine how much space these models take up when I develop them on my pcs? 100s of megabytes each lol!
I have no objections to your conversion, but as I haven't really much experience with sfc2x and the UIs, I'm not really qualified to advise on which one to use lol. Just match up the sizes I guess - DN something?

Starforce: Thanks for your assistance in getting this released. I didn't realise that I had used so many textures! They're not all huge ones I would like to stress!

Some ingame pics:  TEMPEST I didn't want to load down the thread for 56Kers.

I've redone the HP's and resized the model to go with the F-DN for SFC2 and reworked the textures to get the file size down (It's now around 13megs instead of 84megs in game and the zip file is 4megs). I can't get the break model to work though. Maybe the utility that I'm using (CV) can't save break models correctly. Is there somebody who can redo the right size break model for SFC2?
