Aw crap! Bioware puts out great RPGs. I can see it coming. They will all be on XBOX now. Dam you MS and your intent on ruling the world!

Supposedly MS is buying Bioware and it's pretty much a done deal.

 Microsoft to Acquire Bioware.

If MS did acquire Bioware, which Bioware internal is denying. (so says Tycho and Gabe at Penny-Arcade.com) then that would only mean that there would be an XBOX exclusive period. Thats all. Remember how Grand Theft Auto III worked? Same idea. Different games.

How long do you think it would take them to drop Linux support for Neverwinter Nights?

I'd hate to see BioWare owned by the Evil Empire.  They consistantly put out excellent work and I have a great deal of respect for them.  I'd hate to have to respect anything owned by MS!

*Quickly checks his copy of Neverwinter.
*Notices that it's indeeed made by Bioware.
*Bursts into uncontroable profanity and throws a tantrum that would make his friend's 2-year old proud.

So much for the furture of D&D computer games.
